This bundle includes two life-time DLCs (one-time purchase) and upgrades your gameplay experience to the air war. Paratroopers are often dropped in-mass over enemy targets to disrupt and take objectives. As a Fighter Pilot, you will be engaging enemy aircraft or defending your friendly forces from enemy bombers. It is recommended for optimum experiences to have a joystick, however, you can fly with a mouse and keyboard (we'd rate it as moderate difficulty). Early Access ReviewA truly unique game with some terrible flaws. WWII Online is at its best when you're fighting building by building for a town. The in-game communication and combined arms model really shine here. There's nothing else like it. Due to low population and the massive amount of space between towns though, this doesn't happen as much as you'd like.
You'll often find yourself spawning kilometers from a town or spawning into a town where the enemy is kilometers away. The shooting is jank but if you can get access to SMG's or get good with the rifle, it is manageable. Additionally, the stamina model is annoying as hell.
I think you can get away with the sheer size of the map or the very limited stamina model, but not both. The vets are genuinely helpful and there are some good online guides (definitely familiarize yourself with the glossary on the WWII Online wiki; astounding number of acronyms in this game.)Overall, a very frustrating game.
A game like no other that seems reluctant to give players the best of itself. Still, it's gotten it's hooks into me, so maybe it will work for you as well. Just come into the experience with a lot of patience and this game might be magic for you.Not going to touch on the horrible subscription model, others have spoken on it here.
